Tapestry Intensive

TapTapThink!
9am-4pm $150 [9-12yrs]
with The Thinkery!
What is tap dancing? Rhythm, numbers, mass, gravity + soul! This unique arts+science camp explores the physics of tap by dancing with your feet AND your brain. Plus, a half day tour at the Thinkery, Austin’s new children’s museum!

World Dance & Music Camp

with Anthropo Arts!

JULY 27-31
Dance On Camera Camp
9am-4pm $150 [9-12yrs]
with Austin Film Society!
Learn dances from your favorite videos with Tapestry faculty, while studying the principles of dance on camera with instructors from the Austin Film Society. Final project is creating/filming/editing your very own dance film short! (*one and a half days AFS instructors come to Tapestry)

Frozen Camp
9am-4pm $150 [5-9yrs]
with Mosaic Children’s Theater!
Kids will dance to the music from the hit Disney movie Frozen. Be Anna. Be Elsa. Dance, sing, act and make costumes!
JUNE 29-July 3
Dino Camp
9am-4pm $150 [5-11yrs]
with Pollyanna Children’s Theater!
Learn how to tell stories through dance and explore themes from the play Sarah the Dinosaur. Make educational arts & crafts, and move like a dinosaur! Plus, an invitation to see the professional PCT company’s performance of Sarah the Dinosaur at the Long Center’s Rollins Theater.
JULY 13-17
Fairies of the Ballet Camp
9am-2pm $150 [4-8yrs]
Dancers will learn the basics of ballet while exploring ballet tales of magical fairies and willies.
