Arts After School 

 

A small, select group of dedicated students participate in a variety of classes within the disciplines of music, drama, dance, literary arts and visual arts here at Tapestry Dance Company. Their exploration and study culminate in two full productions as well as performance and showcase opportunituies through out the school year. Students do not need to have prior experience, only the enthusiasm to explore and the commitment to learn, practice, and give it their best effort. Enrollment is limited to better serve our students. There are approximately 8 students per grade level chosen each school year. We recommend starting the application process as soon as possible.

Transportation from School (Early Dismissal Days Included)

Dependable After School Care

Two snacks a day

Weekly Leveled Classes (Visual Art, Dance, Stage and Screen Acting and Writing)

Personal Art Kit

Tapestry - Arts After School T-shirt

Participation in Two Full Productions (December and May)

 

Why do we interview/audition?

Our program is unique and requires focus and a bit of self discipline. Our school is filled with happy and harmonious students that are respectful of each other and of our instructors and we are respectful of them. We give them a lot of room to express themselves creatively and we honor their individuality. Our students have chosen us and we have chosen them and through that desire to be a valued part of a school of the arts we are achieving extraordinary things together. Parental involvement is also required for success and we want to make sure it is a good fit all around. We always welcome interest from new students and look forward to meeting you.
